This week in Pūtere we have been looking at Respecting our Property and the Environment

Why do we need to respect our Environment?  (list at least 3)

1. So we don't kill nature.

2. To keep it nice and clean for the next generation

3. So we can encourage the little kids and others to do the same

How can students at KNS Respect their property/Environment?  (list at least 3)

1. By not littering or kns putting bins around school.

2. By naming or checking around you to make sure none of your stuff are still there.

3. By not taking food out to the Field and putting rubbish in your lunch box

How do show this in class/the playground?  (list at least 2)

1. By putting your fruit skins in the right bin or putting rapers in the bin.

2. By picking up after your self like if you drop food on the carpet.

How can I improve at this?  (list at least 2)

3. By not stuffing my shrub in my pockets.

4. try not to bring packet food to school.

1. Giving things you haven't done before of scared to do.

2. To give hard things ago and to try your self.

In Pūtere this week we have been looking at doing what is expected of us

Some of the things that are expected of us are (list at least 3)

1. To respect he teacher

2. Listen to the teacher when they are talking

3. Keep you hands and feet to your self

What things that are expected of us do I do really well? (list at least 3)

1. To respect the teacher when they say something I might disagree with.

2. To be brave and try new things.

3. listening to the teacher when they give me a instruction.

What things that are expected of us am I still working on?  (list at least 2)

1. To make new friends with other people

2. To keep on trying new things and to be more Brave.

This week Room 14 have been focusing on respect.

We talked about what we did at school that showed respect, when I am at school I show respect by…

By helping people who are sad or who needs help with something.

We talked about the difference between laughing at someone and laughing with someone.

Laughing at someone is when:

You are making fun of someone of what they did like falling over.

Laughing with someone is when:

When they say something funny and they are laughing after they get hurt or something.

We also made some roleplays to show the difference mine is attached below.

CONNECT REFLECTION - WEEK 1

What does our new value - CONNECT - mean?

Connect means make new friends and get to know bit about them and

 help class and hub members on things that they are stuck on and Include 

others in your conversation and working groups.

How have you Connected this week?  Remember to show evidence, actual times and how.

I have help other people with their work and I have made a new friend with summer.

How could you become better at this value?

Helping new people ad making more friends and ask for help when im stuck. Because I havent asked any one for help yet and I have been stuck on some work.
